Services Available
A team of specially trained Medicare Health Support registered nurses is available by phone seven days a week to answer your health questions. This number is 1-866-807-4486. These nurses are familiar with your specific health needs and will take time to answer your questions. You will receive regular calls, arranged at a time convenient for you, from a Medicare Health Support nurse to:
- Remind you about certain tests that you need, like regular blood tests or eye exams.
- Answer your questions about how the different medicines you take work together.
- Answer your questions about test results or the instructions you receive from the different doctors you see.
- Give you ideas about things you can do to feel better, including ways to reduce any pain you may have.
- Provide advice about diet and exercise.
- Talk with you about questions you should ask your doctors and other people who help you with your health care, including your family.
- Help you understand any hospital, home or nursing care issues that might be confusing to you.
